A boy's been charged following a spate of alleged break ins in the Northern Beaches.

It's alleged he stole personal items.

Yesterday morning Police from Cairns Property Crime squad arrested a 17-year-old Mooroobool boy after a spate of break ins last week.

It will be alleged that the boy forced entry to a number of Trinity Park and Kewarra beach dwellings, stealing car keys and other personal property items.

The boy was charged with a total of six offences including, three counts of Burglary, and one count each of receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted burglary.
