Western NSW Parliamentary Secretary Rick Colless has welcomed a $584 million funding announcement for drought affected farmers.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian, Deputy Premier John Barilaro and Minister for Primary Industries Niall Blair visited Dubbo yesterday to unveil the boost, which will provide increased financial support for key infrastructure and funding for mental health.

Mr. Colless told Nine News Central West the Farm Innovation Fund will now be able to better assist communities in western NSW suffering from drought.
