WA has seen a record number of scratch'n'win lotto winners in 2017, with $58 million claimed across the year.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Chloe Lawler said 52 top prize winners came forward to collect their prize money over the past 12 months

“Everyone from a Noranda garbage truck driver who picked up $50,000, right through to a single mother from Joondalup who won $100,000, twice,” she said.

The lucky Scratchie suburbs were Belmont and Willetton, with five winners collecting $150,000 in Belmont.
