Get outside this weekend and go for a walk!

Perth is surrounded by so many different walking trails that we’re really spoiled for choice. Here are a few of our favourites.

All times are approximate – it depends on your walking speed!

Rocky Pool Walk – Kalamunda National Park

This walk is named after the awesome rock pool that is a perfect reward for all that hiking!

Length: 5km
Time: 2 hours

Baldwin’s Bluff – Serpentine National Park

Head uphill and hike to the summit for amazing views of the Swan Coastal Plain, the valley and the Serpentine Falls.

Distance: 6km
Time: 2-3 hours

Scarborough Trigg Heritage Walk

There are three different loops here that take you along the beachfront and through the local bushland. You can stop for a swim at the beach or a coffee in one of the cafes along the way!

Length: 7.3km (all three loops)
Time: 2.5 hours

Ghost House Walk Trail – Yanchep National Park

Head through the wetlands and into the wilderness areas of Yanchep National Park. Best of all you can also explore the historic remains of the ‘ghost house’.

Length: 12.4km
Time: 5 hours

Eagle View Walk – John Forrest National Park

Get a glimpse of amazing views and weave your way through valleys, creek lines and hills on this moderately difficult walk.

Length: 15km (loop)
Time: 5 to 6 hours

Remember to always wear appropriate shoes, take enough water with you and check for any local warnings before you head out.
