You might've felt the Earth move last night, or at the very least read about it on Facebook.

Feeds lit up around 8.30pm and sure enough Geoscience Australia confirmed a 3.2 magnitude quake struck near Mannum.

The tremor was felt through the Hills and as far away as City suburbs.

Locals close to the epicentre say it sounded like thunder or even a freight train.

There have been no reports of damage or injury.
