Everyone's still reeling about what went down during The Bachelor finale last week and although we've heard from a lot of the girls after they watched the finale, we haven't heard much from the Honey Badger.

Whilst the finale aired last Thursday, Nick Cummins was walking the Kokoda Trail in Paupa New Guinea for charity, where he didn't have any phone reception.

Although he did an interview with Lisa Wilkinson for The Sunday Project, it was filmed well before the finale aired, so we still don't know what happened on his end when Australia saw him end his Bachelor journey with no one.

So, to shed some light on what Nick went through as Australia began to throw daggers his way, we spoke to Kai who runs the  Zahra Foundation Australia and organised the Kokoda walk that the Honey Badger is currently on.

Once we got through the satellite phone troubles, Kai told the Hit Network's Stav, Abby and Matt that when he met up with Nick on the trek, he didn't say much about the show at all, however, there were plenty of other good looking girls in his group.

"He was pretty tight-lipped about the whole situation, but a bit of pure conjecture, there were a number of young ladies on his trip that he was with.

"So, potentially there's more fish in the sea for him."

Listen to Kai's recollection of the moment that the team on his trip found out about what happened on The Bachelor below:
