Well if you were on your couch, at work or walking the dog at around 1:30 pm in Coffs Harbour and you felt what you thought was an Earthquake, you're not crazy!
This morning the Joint Australian Tsunami Warning Centre detected a 2.2 magnitude earthquake at South West Rocks at 1:04am. Just after 6am, another tremor was said to be felt at Bellingen.
According to the JATWC, the Bellingen earthquake registered a magnitude of 3.3, with a second earthquake of 3.1 magnitude detected an hour later in Bellingen.
Reports now are flooding through from Toormina, Kempsey, Urunga, Macksville and Valla Beach. Geoscience Australia stated yesterday that "It's not unusual to get a swarm of earthquakes when stresses exceed the strength of the rock".
Its OK you can now rest easy that you're not the only one.....
