Shane Warne Reveals What His Kids Think Of Him Being 'The Bachelor'

Yesterday, New Idea announced that cricketer Shane Warne was set to become Australia's next Bachelor in 2018.

Shane was quick to fire back at the claims, saying that they were completely untrue and that the rumour had "hurt" his kids.

Whilst speaking with Fifi, Fev and Byron on FoxFM this morning, the cricket legend explained that when the rumours reached his family, they were pretty confused.

"Suddenly, my children start asking me 'Daddy, are you going to be the new Bachelor?'

"Jackson said 'Dad, there's no way you're doing that' and he said, 'mind you, you'd be pretty funny and entertaining.'

"At the end they said 'Dad, this is ridiculous, you can't do this' so, I'm defending myself to my kids about something that's totally made up."

Luckily, after all that, they were still able to have a laugh about it and Shane said that the kids actually asked him about whether or not they'd get a piece of his pay cheque!

"They said after that, they go 'well, if you do do it Dad, how much do we get?'"
