Where to Watch State of Origin

In case you don't have plans...

Where to Watch State of Origin

It's almost that time of year again when every Australian gets behind either QLD or NSW. With NSW one up it's time for you to continue the support for your team in State of Origin.

But one thing's for sure: you've got to have plans.

It doesn't matter where you are in the country, there's always numerous bars and pubs that go out of their way to make their venue the prime viewing location for the State of Origin.

We've put together a list of the top spots to watch the game right here in the Riverina!

1. The Kooringal Hotel

Where: Fay Ave, Kooringal
What: Origin is on the BIG screen at the Kooringal! Add to that you'll get your beer, wine and soft drink with finger food through the game for just $40 and they're doing a jersey giveaway on the night and it's a great place to scream at the TV when the Hayne Plane flies!

2. Romano's

Where: Fitzmaurice St Wagga
What: The largest outdoor TV in the Riverina is going to be playing the match on Wednesday night. And if you can't see it on that one, every other TV in the pub will be playing the footy as well! Add to that it's been declared pie and beer night with a massive special on their beef and Guinness pie and it will be a great night (even if the maroons win)

3. The Rules Club

Where: Fernleigh Rd
What:  A great atmosphere, a comfy club environment, and a stack of prizes to be won. The Rules Club has 9 NSW jerseys to give away over the State of Origin series, with one at 7:30pm and another at half time on the night of Origin 1.

4. The Palm and Pawn

Where: Hampden Avenue, North Wagga
What: Plenty happening at the Palm and Pawn, and even more if you're a member. A massive $1000 in the member's draw on the night, as well as sweeps for the first try scorer on the night. Specials in the bar and bistro and of course their famous beer garden. A great night for sure at the Palm and Pawn.

5. The Union

Where: Cnr Baylis and Forsyth St
What: The brand new big screen will be showing the game, and you can catch it from the balcony or downstairs. Grab dinner beforehand, have a couple of brews and kick back as the match kicks off!

Don't leave it too late to plan what you're going to do - the first game kicks off 8PM on June 21st!
