What does Townsville local Kaz Quinn have in common with Miley Cyrus, Courtney Act, and Morgan Mitchell? They're all sizzling, sexy vegans! The tattooed veterinary nurse beat out numerous other entrants to become one of four female finalists in PETA's Australia's Hottest Vegan Competition 2018.

When Kaz isn't taking care of animal companions at the veterinary surgery at Greencross Vets, she enjoys talking about vegan living and sponsoring animals at farm sanctuaries to help save lives of all species. Despite her shy nature, she always speaks up for animals – and speaks out against abuse. She describes her tattoos as conversation starters that enable her to explain why she loves cows, pigs, and chickens and why everyone should keep them off their plates.

Townsville's Kaz Quinn could be named PETA's Hottest Vegan

"There's nothing more attractive than someone who is committed to helping animals and the environment, and it doesn't hurt that vegans are, on average, healthier and more energetic than their meat-eating peers," says PETA spokesperson Emily Rice. "Each one of the finalists in PETA's contest is a living example of the strength and vitality that can come from vegan eating."

This year's winners will be chosen based on several factors, including their activism for animals, and will be announced by 13 October.
