The Burrumbuttock Hay Run is on again!

140+ trucks will be taking to the road

The Burrumbuttock Hay Run is on again!

In 2014 Brendan Farrell heard about a farmer in Bourke NSW that was struggling due to the recent drought, he offered to drive out “back of Bourke” to help deliver much needed hay to keep the farmer and his livestock going. This was how Burrumbuttock Hay Runners came to life. Now 3 years and 11 Hay runs later they are back at it again!

Have a listen to Brendan Farrell chatting with Claire and Dane about there next run.

Brendan and many of his fellow truck drivers will be taking to the roads on the 23rd of February, 140 trucks and almost 250 trailers will be delivering Hay and other much needed supplies to farmers from northern NSW all the way through to central QLD.

These hero truckies don’t get paid, they deliver everything out of love but they do need your help!

Fuel for the trucks is not exactly cheap… and without donations these amazing truckers wouldn’t be able to deliver this much needed support. You can donate here;
