Firies Climb 98 Stories For Motor Neurone Disease

Not Forgetting Their Firefighting Gear

On Saturday October 20, hundreds of Fire Fighters across the state climbed 98 stories of Centrepoint Tower in Sydney.

This included 1504 stairs in full firefighting gear, with air sets weighing over 20kgs all to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Port Macquarie's Fire and Rescue Team made $23,723 and came second in the state for team fundraising.

Last year the team raised $3000 and hope to climb even higher next year.

If you would like to donate any amount head to the Port Macquarie Fire Fighters Climb for MND Facebook page.
