A section of one of Adelaide’s busiest roads remains closed after debris fell from an overpass.
South Road is out of action again today between Glandore and Black Forest, causing major delays for tens of thousands of motorists heading to and from work.
Yesterday, cyclists reported debris had fallen from the 7 year old footpath of the tram bridge.
It’s unknown just how long the road will be closed as engineers and safety experts assess the structural problems.
Transport Minister Stephen Mulligan told Amos, Cat & Angus workers are on site today to lock down the span of the bridge which has moved sending concrete onto the road:
