A video went viral last month showing a father snap whilst confronting a teenage boy who had been severely bullying his daughter, eventually strangling him.
This Sunday, the girl’s parents will be appearing on 60 Minutes to explain exactly what happened, sparking a debate online and in households as to what is right and wrong in these situations.
Many parents have commented on the video praising the father for his actions, causing a big divide on the issue.
Is it okay to confront your child’s bully?
When do things go too far?
What can parents and guardians do without crossing a line?
We opened up the topic to our listeners and were met with a number of calls from people of all different perspectives on the matter; parents, school staff and former students who had been bullied.
