Word on the street is that too many Adelaide locals are leaving the nest to set up camp elsewhere. So who better to convince someone to move back home to Adelaide than the Premier, Jay Weatherill, himself!

Appearing on Amos, Cat & Angus this morning, we asked Weatherill to call Louisa in Malta, the best friend of one of our listeners, Jodie.

The Premier was tasked with the challenge of convincing Louisa to return home after 17 years overseas and he did a pretty damn good job!

He kicked things off by highlighting our ever-growing bustling food and bar scene, like this dessert coffee house or this new pizzeria

“There are 100 groovy small bars, incredible laneway culture, basically we make the best coffee anywhere in the world and its basically come alive that the vibrancy in the city now since you left is just through the roof.”

Before be made this very good point:

“I think what Jodie wants is a wingman. Someone that can hook her up with some cute young man and you’re vital.”
