Before we saw Sophie sadly bid farewell to hunky Apollo last night on The Bachelorette, we all noticed that the magician had advertised on his website that he is about to release a single.
So, is he about to launch a music career too?
Well, we learnt this morning that ‘Addiction’ is actually going to be a re-release for a song Apollo created when he was 23, which after a few touch ups, will drop in about 3-4 weeks.
So did Apollo just go on The Bachelorette for a career boost and fame?
Hit 107’s Amos, Cat & Angus asked the 24-year-old straight up and this is what he had to say:
“I’ve been singing and songwriting since I was 12, so it’s really weird that it’s only just come out in the media.
"It hasn’t been this thing I've just decided to do now the show’s finished or anything like that... I used to sing at pubs and clubs when I was younger.
“I did go on [The Bachelorette] to meet someone that would understand my lifestyle, someone I would get along with, fun but down-to-earth.
"Yeah, it’s been really weird that people would come out with this because if I was a plumber and I’d gone on the show and then I come off and was like ‘there’s a new plumbing deal’, there wouldn’t be this reaction.”
He also says he’d be up for being the next Bachelor!
