My name is Angus O’Loughlin. I’m 28, a radio announcer and the product of a mother who is a selfless sole parent.
Annie O’Loughlin gave me everything she could to make sure I got the education, food, even guitar lessons (pointless) I needed and wanted growing up. There’s no one I’ll ever be more grateful to, or love more, than my mum. Except I can’t stand to be with her.
Am I a monster?
When I think of my mum, I think how my heart couldn’t love a person more; how I would move heaven and earth for her and truly give my life to save hers. However, our relationship started to change a few years ago.
