From Friday, Tom Flood sport centre is being transformed into the trendy AF destination of Bendigo Food Truck Festival. Over three days you can gorge yourself on a smorgasbord of yummy foods, kick back and listen to some local musicians or even just watch the footy while eating fancy truck foods (fear not AFL-heads, you don't have to turn your head from the TV!)
But what sort of food can you expect? Glad you asked, we compiled a list of what we're stoked to check out most this weekend at the Bendigo Food Truck Festival.
As the name suggests Mr Burger has built their reputation on phenomenal mobile burgers with a side interest in hella good chip. If you like things with extra cheese then this is the truck stop for you.
Glory be this dessert truck is getting a visit from all the Hit crew! Possibly the best Greek donuts you've ever had with the option of drowning them in Nutella, sprinklings of salted caramel or a cheeky dab of popcorn something on the SG's menu will tickle your sweet fancy.
Dos Diablos Mobile Cantina
The food truck and Mexican food obsession go hand in hand and these two devils know that too well. Dos Diablos has you covered for those that crave spice. With tacos, including gluten free and vegan options it's sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Roadrunner Fried Chicken
Two words: Fried Chicken. You want it? RRFC got it.
If you've never tried Brazilian steak this is your weekend to take the plunge!
Local band The Knots know exactly how to get a crowd up and dancing! These guys take over the Forty Winks Live Music stage from 6 on Saturday night.
Eliza & Co- what a voice!
If you're a Shann Fan (if this isn't his groupie name it is now), check out Shann Lions on Friday night for a dose of the Boss and Ryan Adams.
Show OTIS some love!
Sunday's entry fees will be donated to the OTIS foundation so take Mum for mothers day and shout her some lunch!
Dogs are welcome at the Bendigo Food Truck Festival! Make sure to keep them on their leash :)
