Some Aussie scientists have successfully broken a world record, after they shot a meat pie more than 30kms into the sky.

The 2018 NewSpace FlashBuild, led by UNSW's TechConnect were behind the stunt, which they say was to break the record for pie altitude.

A.B & Ben caught up with UNSW TechConnect Flashbuild organiser, Alex Herihly, to ask the hard hitting questions, like, "did they include tomato sauce?"

A special mention to the supporters of this mission, including SpaceOps, and space tech coordinator Delta-V, with the backing of the NSW Government's Boosting Business Innovation Program as well as Garlo's Pies
