Zane Urasli was tragically killed in his family's driveway at the age of 3, but it's what happened after his death that has opened up conversation about organ donation in Australia.

After her own son Mason received life-saving organs, she was determined to reach out to the parents who made that happen.

For this Donate Life Week we chatted to Zane's parents Brooke and Ibrahim who spoke of their heartbreaking decision to donate their babies organs.

Mason's mother Tatiana Johnson said more than anything she wanted to thank the family who saved her sons life.

The two families appeared on A Current Affair when they met for the first time.
