Wikipedia describes the The furry fandom as a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.

Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, speaking, walking on two legs, and wearing clothes.

It has become extremely popular and some characters have over 1 million subscribers.

We spoke to the chairman of the Australian furry fandom, Christina, and she answered everything we have ever wanted to know.
