The trip to the hospital to give birth is bound to usually be a time of stress and excitement, however the NZ Minister for Women has taken this to the next level.
Rather than going for a drive to be induced, Julie Anne Genter decided to cycle to the hospital.
Our own Em is four months pregnant, and I think it's safe to say that she's decided against cycling on the big day already.
"You know what else I love? She is a Greens minister, so #onbrand," Em said.
"And some people asked her why (she cycled) and she said 'oh it's mostly downhill, it doesn't matter!'
"I am four months pregnant and I am struggling to walk upstairs."
