Just when you thought there couldn't be any more classic sitcoms that Hollywood would want to bring back, they go ahead and spring this on us.
Ladies and gentlemen, Roseanne is coming back into our lives.
The sitcom about a working-class family ran from 1988 to 1997 and made John Goodman, one of the nicest men in film and TV, a bonafide star.
Deadline has reported that many of the original cast members are thinking of returning for the reboot including Sara Gilbert, who played Darlene on the show.
For those who didn't know, Sara is currently a host on the TV talk show The Talk and earlier this year had a mini-reunion with her TV dad.
Her audience loved it and John said if the opportunity ever arose, he'd definitely reprise his role as the loveable Dan Connor.
Sara also said she'd be up for it, but said that it would have to be done correctly.
"Your only fear is you don't want to do a bad version, because you don't want to damage what’s been done."
Producers are currently still decided whether to air the Roseanne reunion on a streaming service or through a major TV broadcaster.
Hopefully, no matter who they choose, they will be able to deliver a series that fans of the original show can enjoy.
What do you think of the Roseanne revival?
