In yet another segment of shows that are making a comeback, popular series The L Word is about to get a reboot.
The show has just had a new show runner announced and Marja-Lewis Ryan, a writer/director, has been determined as one of the minds behind the sequel to the series.
She will join original creator Iene Chaiken, as well as actors Katherine Moennig, Jennifer Beals, and Leisha Hailey.
Maria spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the sequel, revealing, "Ilene and the original L Word made me believe that my voice mattered.
"I am beyond excited for the opportunity to usher in the next generation of diverse queer people. I couldn't imagine a better time to make this show.”
The involvement of Marja on the project cements the news that it is returning.
