Matty J, we have a problem. You know that you already have us hooked. Why play us like this?
It was the moment that had all of Australia on the edge of their seats: that damn rose ceremony.
The rose ceremony that ended on the extremely anti-climactic cliffhanger so that, yes, we all had to tune in same time, same place tomorrow. (Even though the numerous close ups of Sian's extremely unimpressed face were kind of a dead set giveaway of exactly what was going to happen.)
Well, valued readers, it turns out that cliffhanger that had us all talking was staged. And no, not the presumed producers-yelling-in-Matty's-ear-to-put-the-rose-back-down staged... staged, like, it never actually happened in the first place.
What, but how? I watched Matty put back down the rose. I watched the girls' faces drop!
With some super sneaky and, quite frankly, unnecessary editing, that's how.
Punkee has uploaded the snippet of when Matty J was seen 'lowering back down the rose'. However, if you watch closely enough, it becomes pretty damn clear, that never happened. They actually just rewound the footage of him picking up the rose... a-nnoy-ing.
Obviously, Sian's exit from the show still happened, along with Matty's "I'm not a puppet speech" (lol) but way to overplay the drama card, guys.
Really, Channel 10, why you gotta play us for fools?
