Sonya and Hadil have confirmed that they've been kicked off of My Kitchen Rules following their explosive fight with Jess and Emma during Kim and Suong's instant restaurant.

The argument had been promoted by the show for months and when it finally hit Aussie TV screens, fans of the show slammed MKR for promoting bullying.

Manu asked Sonya and Hadil to leave the dinner table after they threatened not only Jess and Emma, but every other remaining team on MKR as well.

Now, the pair have taken to Instagram to apologise to viewers and to wish their fellow competitors luck in the cooking competition.

"There is more to the ‘scandal’ than meets the eye, however we take full responsibility for the words that came out of our mouths and we sincerely apologise.

"Like any reality TV show, no one but the people on-set filming 10-14 hour days know exactly what goes on behind the tears, the tension, the smiles, the reactions & the words exchanged.

"We will not apologise to the network who twisted, provoked and fuelled this entire situation all for ratings. We do however wish to apologise to the viewers for having to witness the situation which should have never gone to air. We wish the remaining teams in the competition the best of luck. Sonya & Hadil x."

Manu told The Daily Telegraph that Sonya and Hadil had reached out to him on Facebook to apologise for the incident, however, he said that he wasn't interested in their "excuses".
