We already have a few clues about what the second season of 13 Reasons Why has in store for us, but producer Selena Gomez has spilled a few more secrets about what we should expect to see.
Whilst speaking to Movin’ 92.5 in Seattle, she explained that the second series will expand on the issues raised and tie up any loose ends.
“I think for season two, we elaborate more on some of those questions and the stories and the resolution, if you will, of what some of these kids have gone through so - and are going through.
“I was in the writer's room the other day, and they’re working so hard, and it;s going to come together.
“I was sitting there at the table, like, ‘Wait, what happened?!’ Almost like freaking out.”
So it looks like season two could be focusing on Hannah’s classmates after all.
The first season of 13 Reasons Why received a lot of backlash with schools advising parents not to allow teenagers to watch the show alone.
The New Zealand government also created a new film rating for it, banning teenagers from watching the show without a parent present.
Selena said she didn't expect the show to receive the reactions it did, but that she understood why viewers reacted the way they did.
“I’m so excited for season two.
“I think it’s going to be so exciting because you know, I didn’t expect the first to be as loud, if you will?
“I didn’t expect it to have the reaction that it did.
“It was amazing and it was complicated, and there was a lot of stuff that came with it, and I understood what that meant.”
So will there be some big changes regarding the issues raised in the show?
Will things become a lot lighter?
We have so many questions...
