People Are Confused About Whether This Australian Survivor Contestant Broke The Rules

Australian Survivor is really heating up thanks to the adventures of the Cookie Monster!

On Sunday night’s episode a dilemma was presented to two separate contestants. On their individual beaches Tarzan and Jericho each came across a cookie jar and a pile of wood, along with a note that offered them a choice. They could take the firewood and share it with the tribe, or they could take the cookies and not share it with anyone.

Tarzan chose the firewood, but Jericho took the cookies… sparking off a series of Cookie Monster escapades that involved him running around the island with a giant jar of cookies.

While that was all pretty standard Survivor stuff, there was one element that has people confused. The note said that you couldn’t share the cookies with anyone. But over both Sunday and Monday night’s episodes Jericho proceeded to share the cookies with Luke, Henry and Sarah.

Australia had a lot of questions about whether this broke the rules.

So what was it? Did he break the rules? Was it fine to share the cookies with people one by one? Hopefully host Jonathan LaPaglia will address this on a future episode - because the show HAS NOT answered this question.

Zoe, Shannon and Julia discussed this issue and more in the latest episode of Get Snuffed! The Australian Survivor Podcast. Make sure you subscribe here.
