Nasser From MAFS Posts Then Deletes Photo Celebrating Mardi Gras Channel Nine

After being ambushed with comments regarding his sexuality, Married At First Sight husband Nasser Sultan has deleted a photo he posted to Instagram showing him celebrating Mardi Gras with friends.

As fans of the show have watched Nasser struggle each week with showing affection for wife Gabrielle, the question of his sexuality has become a talking point online.

After denying the rumours, Nasser posted this photo on Instagram with friends celebrating yesterday’s Mardi Gras alongside the caption: “Happy Mardi Gras everyone! #MAFS #love #peace #DonaldDuck #Cher #backstage #VIP”

Because people on the internet can be the absolute worst, Nasser’s post was met with a string of homophobic comments by trolls.

Although followers posted plenty of supportive comments as well, the backlash was simply too much.

"It's shocking behaviour," Nasser told The Daily Mail

“I posted it to show my support for my friends and neighbours. Then it got heated to the point of people slagging me off so I deleted it.”

He then posted this photo instead, with the hashtag #haterswillbehaters:
