Nickelodeon was home to some of the craziest cartoons we'd ever seen.
CatDog, The Angry Beavers and AHH! Real Monsters were so surreal, but we still loved them and we were so excited when we found out that one of the most surreal shows ever was returning!
Rocko's Modern Life was a cartoon about a wallaby navigating life in a whacky American town where everything is just weird.
Rocko is set to return in a one-hour TV special called Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling, which will be the first time the wallaby has been on our screens since 1996.
The plot details of the special have been released and not only will the special be as insane as you remember, it also has a few modern references in there, if you look hard enough.
"Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling brings the characters back to Earth after being lost in outer space since 1996.
"Rocko has trouble accepting this 21st-century modern life, while Heffer and Filburt embrace every aspect of new technology, social media and the endless diversity of food trucks.
"Rocko whole-heartedly believes that his nostalgia for the past can save him from the tortures of the modern world."
Hollywood has been churning out a lot of sequels, prequels and reboots of classic movies over recent years.
Is this Rocko reboot a reflection of that?
Sneaky Nickelodeon, sneaky...
