The Hawaii Five-0 reboot has been a massive hit show ever since it aired, and now that it’s entering its eighth season we’re sure the world is completely in love with it.
But we’re not sure for how much longer… because two of the show’s lead actors have just QUIT the CBS series, as claims that a dispute over a pay difference to their co-stars is to blame.
Fan faves Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park have appeared in all 168 episodes of the show to date, but Variety has reported that their salary offers for the eighth season were 10-15% lower than their co-stars Alex O’Laughlin and Scott Caan.
Neither Grace nor Daniel have commented on their departure from the show, but this pay inequality is cited to be the most likely reason for the sudden change.

"We are so appreciative of Daniel and Grace’s enormous talents, professional excellence and the aloha spirit they brought to each and every one of our 168 episodes. They've helped us build an exciting new Hawaii Five-0, and we wish them all the best and much success in their next chapters. Mahalo and a hui hou ..."
Fans have since called upon the network to renegotiate their salaries so they return to the show.
Only time will tell what happens next.
