What a legend!

'Grey's Anatomy' Actress Sandra Oh Has Just Made History! American Broadcasting Company

If you're a fan of Grey's Anatomy, you would have also been devastated when Sandra Oh, who played Dr Cristina Yang on the show, left.

Since she departed the medical drama, Sandra has been killing it on a TV show called Killing Eve where she plays Eve Polastri, a MI5 operative who is on the hunt for an assassin.

Sounds cool, right?

What's even cooler, though, is that Sandra's new role has scored her an Emmy nomination that's just made history!

Sandra is now the first actress of Asian decent to be nominated in the Best Lead Actress In A Drama Series award at the Emmys!

She spoke to The New York Times about her groundbreaking achievement saying simply, "let's celebrate it, man!"

"I’m serious, just f***ing celebrate it. It’s like, we’ve got to start somewhere. And I’m happy to get that ball rolling, because what I hope happens is that next year and the next year and the next year, we will have presence.

"And the presence will grow not only to Asian-Americans, you know, from yellow to brown, but to all our other sisters and brothers. Our First Nations sisters and brothers. Our sisters and brothers of different sizes and different shapes. If I can be a part of that change, like f***, yeah, let’s celebrate it."

Sandra has been nominated for five Emmys during her stint on Grey's Anatomy, however, they were all for Best Supporting Actress.

This is the first time that Sandra has been nominated in a Lead Actress category.

Now, let us celebrate with another one of her most iconic roles: Vice Principal Gupta in The Princess Diaries:
