Ali Oetjen began her TV journey on the very first season of The Bachelor, didn't win over the man she was fighting for and then, decided to go and give reality TV dating another go on Bachelor In Paradise.
Unfortunately, things didn't work out for her there either, so now she's the new Bachelorette, because the third time's the charm... right?
Now, when asked about her break-up with Grant, Ali stayed pretty tight-lipped and simply said that the distance caused it, however, her ex doesn't agree with that.
Grant has told New Idea that they actually broke up because he caught her cheating on him with his best friend!
"I don’t understand why she would do something like that. She definitely had me fooled, that’s for sure."
He explained that he broke up with her in March after he found her getting intimate with his friend in his own home.
"The third or fourth day she got here, we went out and this night – when all this stuff happened – I had people over after going out to a club. I live in a gated community so I have to go down and let people in sometimes.
"So, I leave my house with my friend Sabrina, to go and grab my friends and bring them back upstairs, and when we walk back inside, we come up the stairs and she is hooking up with this dude."
Grant said that he then asked Ali to leave his home and said that he never wanted to see her again.
"I kicked her out and he slept on my couch that night. The guy that this all went down with, he didn’t even know she was with me, he didn’t even know who she was. He thought she was some random girl at my house!"
He said that Ali had texted him the next morning, apologising and asking for forgiveness, however, Grant wasn't interested.
"I told her to stop talking to me: 'I’m about to block you', so that’s what I did, I blocked her and she flew home the next day or something like that.
"That is literally one of the most disrespectful things you can do. I don’t even know how to get past that level of disrespect. I’m still shocked by it.
"There’s your Bachelorette."
Ali hasn't yet commented on Grant's story.
