Channel Nine has made many attempts to compete with Ten’s MasterChef and Seven’s My Kitchen Rules when it comes to Australian reality TV cook-off shows, but have never been able to hit the mark. Could their latest attempt be the one to do it?!
Family Food Fight is Nine’s upcoming reality show which will utilise the many cultures that make up Australia and all the delicious food we produce!
But what might win over viewers, is the inclusion of something MasterChef and MKR hasn’t ever done and it’s all in the name - Family Food Fight.
Most Australians watch TV with their kids, parents, sisters and brothers and so on, which could really create a much more relatable and fun experience for viewers.
The families sound fun too.
Family Food Fight will feature Greek, Italian, Vietnamese, Lebanese and White Australian families made up of parents, teens, uncle and aunties so we know we’ll be in for less b*tchiness and seriousness, and more laughs!
As for the judges, you’ll be pleased to see Hayden Quinn grace your television screens again. Joining him is fellow MasterChef alum Anna Polyviou, judge Matt Moran and food writer Tom Parker Bowles.
