Following Bernard Tomic’s departure from the show just two days in, Anthony Mundine has become the second person in Australia’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! history to utter the words and quit.
For a show that attempts to be as tight-lipped as possible with every single piece of information about which celebrities will enter the jungle before the premiere, Channel Ten has been surprisingly keen to tell viewers when someone is going to leave before the episode airs.
So, no spoilers here guys, it’s literally all over their social media and will most likely be talked about by Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown at the beginning of the episode.
The news broke early this morning when Anthony took to his Facebook page to make the announcement:
“Hey everyone! No doubt you have seen the headlines by now that I have left the jungle. It was an incredible experience but I miss my family and feel like I have accomplished everything I wanted to do. I did all but one of the trials (which I couldn’t compete in because of my foot) and met some great people and went out with a bang on an epic trial that you will see tonight ( 🐍🐍)
“Thanks for the supporting me on the show & make sure you watch me go out with a bang !! See you all back home 🙌🏽
“#imacelebrityau #itsallgravybaby 🤙🏽”
Anthony lasted just under two weeks in the jungle.
Fans will have to tune in tonight at 7:30 to find our just what pushed the champion boxer over the edge!
