Earlier this morning, the world was shocked to discover that cop comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been cancelled by it's US network.
Here in Australia, most people watch the show on Netflix and when they found out about the show's cancellation, fans called on a streaming service to revive the show, like Netflix revived cult comedy Arrested Development in 2013.
Luckily, everyone's cries for help have been heard by Hulu!
Deadline has reported that the US streaming service is looking at saving the show from extinction, which is something they've done before.
The Mindy Project (an incredibly underrated comedy that you should all watch now) was cancelled by FOX back in 2015 after it's third season aired.
After hearing the news, Hulu decided to continue running the show and it lasted for another three seasons before ending on its own terms in 2017.
Now, the streaming service is hoping to do the same thing with Brooklyn Nine-Nine!
A few other TV networks are also scouting the show including TBS, a US cable network which currently holds the cable rights to the series.
So, who knows where the series will land next, but as long as everyone keeps trying to save the show, Gina Linetti won't be giving herself pep talks in the mirror...
