I really do hate being the bearer of bad news, but - unfortunately - it's just a part of the job.
I sincerely regret to inform you that, thanks to Paris Fashion Week Men's, baggy designer thigh-high Ugg boots exist.
The eyesores are the debut product of Ugg and Y/Project's recent collaboration; where Y/Project's creative director Glenn Martens incorporated his signature style with the slipper/boot which is - sadly - so heavily associated with our country.
Speaking with Vogue, Martens attempted to explain his reasoning behind the shoe and tbh, his response is exactly what you'd expect the person behind this creation to say. In fact, it's almost so perfect that I'm hardly mad about the shoe anymore:
“Putting on Uggs is like putting your foot in a warm pot of butter, and I thought why not elevate that and immerse your full legs!
“So we decided to design an Ugg boot that climbs up to the crotch and covers the whole leg.”
Why *don't* we immerse our entire legs in warm pots of butter?
Now, question: if Aussie's love a pair of your Uggs with nothing but shorts - what do we wear with these? Are we naked when we wear these?
