Kochie Is Auctioning His $16K 'Carols In The Domain' Jacket For Charity

Who wants it?

Kochie Is Auctioning His $16K 'Carols In The Domain' Jacket For Charity David Koch Facebook

So, yesterday we told you guys about David 'Kochie' Koch and his fancy $16,000 jacket that almost caught fire whilst he was hosting Carols In The Domain.

The jacket was lent to him, like most clothes on TV, by Joe Bananas who do advertise the jacket for that steepy price on their website.

Now, after various news sites (including us) pointed out the price of the jacket, Kochie screen shotted one and posted it on Facebook.

He used that post to announce that he's actually going to be doing something pretty amazing with it - now that he's not using it.

Kochie has decided to auction off the jacket to help raise money for charity!

"Joe Bananas Australia lent me the jacket (they’re not all that expensive this was a flash one) and, given the attention, have offered it to Youth Off The Streets to auction off to raise funds for their programs helping disadvantaged youth.

"A wonderful gesture."

Youth Off The Streets  works to help disadvantaged and homeless young people find their feet and is a charity Kochie heavily supports.

There's no link to an auction just yet, but further information will be posted onto the charity's Twitter page.
