In a recent interview with TMZ Live, Kanye West has opened up about addiction, self confidence, Trump and free thought.
During the interview, which took place in the TMZ newsroom in front of staff, Kanye revealed he was “drugged the f*** out” when he went on a tweeting spree in 2016 before he found himself in hospital for over a week.
“Everyone listen to this please," he asked for the attention of the entire office.
"Two days before I was in the hospital, I was on opioids. I was addicted to opioids.
"I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all.
"I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like y’all called Rob at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married.
"I didn’t want ya’ll to call me fat so I got liposuction, right, and they gave me opioids and I started taking two of them and then driving to work on the opioids.
When one of Kanye's ‘boys’ found him his opioids, he said “you know this is used to kill genius?” which made Kanye stopped taking it. But it wasn't long until he was back on pills.
"Two days later, I’m in the hospital. When I left the hospital, how many pills do you think I was given?
"I went from taking two pills to taking seven. So the reason why I dropped those tweets and everything was because I was drugged the f*** out bro.
"And I’m not drugged out [now]. These pills they want me to take three of a day, I take one a week, maybe two a week.
"Ya’ll have be scared of myself, of my vision! So I took some pills, so I wouldn’t go to hospital and prove everyone right.
"We are following other people’s opinions. We are controlled by the media and today it all changes."
