Forbes Says Kylie Jenner Is Set To Become The Youngest ‘Self-Made’ Billionaire Forbes

She may be the youngest Kardashian-Jenner, but the success of Kylie Cosmetics is leading Kylie Jenner towards becoming the youngest ‘self-made’ billionaire in history.

Less than three years since launching the company, a now 20-year-old Kylie has a $900 million fortune, according to a new article by Forbes.

“Another year of growth will make her the youngest self-made billionaire ever, male or female, trumping Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at age 23,” the article reads.

"What her half-sister Kim Kardashian West did for booty, Jenner has done for full lips."

For comparison, Beyoncé has a net worth of $355m, Taylor Swift has $320m and sister Kim Kardashian West, has a net worth of $350m.

The young mum’s fortune comes from her Kylie Cosmetics company, worth $800m, as well as the millions she’s earned from TV, modelling and product endorsements.

She used some $250,000 of her earnings from modelling gigs to pay an outside company to produce the first 15,000 lip kits… he spent months teasing the kits on Instagram, then announced the launch via social media just a day before they went on sale–November 30, 2015.”

Although manufacturing, packaging, and sales are all outsourced, and mum Kris Jenner handles the business, Kylie leveraged her 110 million Instagram followers to market products and gauge a response of what her followers want.

Kylie owns 100% of the company, with Kris receiving a 10% cut for management, as she does with all her kids.
