Actress DuShon Monique Brown, best known for her role as Connie in the NBC hit series Chicago Fire, has passed away.
It’s believed DuShon suffered an apparent heart attack, however, her cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
“The ‘Chicago Fire’ family is devastated to lose one of its own,” executive producer Dick Wolf said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers are with DuShon's family and we will all miss her.”
The sad news was also confirmed by Kenwood Academy High School in an email to parents, where DuShon once worked as a crisis counsellor and ran a 'Drama Starz Program'.
