It was back in 2016 that Justin Timberlake told fans in an interview that his next album would see him return to his country roots.
"I think where I grew up in America has a lot of influence," he said in an interview with Carson Daly.
"Growing up in Tennessee—very central of the country— Memphis is known as being the birthplace of rock and roll, but also the home of the blues, but Nashville's right down the street so there's a lot of country music."
Then, just a few weeks ago, he dropped a trailer for his upcoming album Man of the Woods, which focused again on his roots and where he’s from.
But after the release the album's first two songs, Filthy and Supplies, fans were kinda like “Okay we love these songs, but wasn’t he supposed to go a little country?”
WELL, FINALLY, JT has uploaded a little teaser of his next release, Say Something, featuring good pal and fellow extremely talented musician, Chris Stapleton!
