Tears will definitely be shed this morning as excited Beliebers discover that Justin Bieber has cancelled the rest of his Purpose Tour.
A statement released on his website reads:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts.
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.
“However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
This decision will affect shows across Asia and North America.
Last week, Chinese officials stated that Justin had been banned from mainland China due to “bad behaviour”.
“Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.
"We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions, and truly become a singer beloved by the public.”
As the reason for Justin’s cancellation currently remains unknown, we hope he is in good health and after touring for over 18 months, may just be in need of a good rest.
