Everyone was up in arms a week ago, claiming that Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ music video had ripped off elements of Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ video.
Joseph Kahn, her music video director, then responded, saying, “I’ve worked with Beyoncé a few times. She’s an amazing person. The #LWYMMDvideo is not in her art space. Love and respect to Bey.”
But now, the plot has thickened even more, because in a recent interview he has implied that Bey actually copied Taylor’s music clip for ‘Bad Blood’!
Joseph told the Los Angeles Times, “[LWYMMD] not ‘Formation’ at all.
“They try to say she’s wearing a black crop top and Beyoncé wore a black crop top. But they don’t realize in 2015 in ‘Bad Blood,’ Taylor Swift was wearing a black crop top. I really do think, by the way, that Beyoncé copied ‘Bad Blood.'”
Despite the outrage he caused among loyal Taylor fans and Bey fans, Joseph has since come out to calm everyone down, revealing that he was only trolling us all...
Joseph replied to Perez Hilton, stressing this was all just a wind up.
Way to start WWIII in the music world Joseph...
