In 1971, we were first introduced to Willy Wonka and his giant chocolate factory, that some lucky kids were able to visit, on the big screen.
Then, in 2005, it all happened again with Johnny Depp taking over the role of Willy Wonka from the iconic Gene Wilder.
Now, another Willy Wonka film is in the works, but don't worry, the big wigs in Hollywood won't be churning out the same story of a kid who got to take his grandfather to one of the most outrageous places on earth.
According to Collider, the film will focus on Willy Wonka's origin story, which we saw a bit of in the 2005 version (Christopher Lee as the most haunting dentist in the world!), but apparently, there's a lot more to see.
Three men are currently in talks to play the lead character in the new film and they are:
Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino...
And Ezra Miller, who honestly could play a young Johnny Depp.
Who do you think would make a good Willy Wonka?
