Worth the cash!

NOT A DRILL: Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Acceptance Letter Is Up For Auction! Warner Bros.

Gather your galleons immediately my friends, because a Hogwarts letter from the HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE FILM could. be. yours.

I am shaking as I type.

Post

According to TMZ, this is THE letter our boy Harry received straight from Hagrid himself on his 11th birthday, however, that information hasn’t been specified in the listing and the envelope is also still sealed, so we're not too sure about that one.

Selling through Prop Store, the envelope is described as a “hero” letter, which means it definitely stood out from the other letters. Maybe it’s this one Harry was so close to opening!

“The hero envelope features a real red-wax Hogwarts seal, unlike the many entirely printed versions that were also used in the scene. The envelope remains sealed with a letter seemingly contained within.

“Originally sold at a charity auction, the envelope is accompanied by a letter of donation from Warner Bros. and a copy of the letter contained within.”

The website has estimated the letter will sell for between £3,000 - 5,000 ($4,900 - 8,000 AUD).

If you're keen to get your hands on the letter, find out more here!
