It's been 10 years since the third Rush Hour film was released in cinemas and now, one of its stars has confirmed that a fourth instalment is well and truly on the way!
Whilst speaking to Extra earlier this week, Jackie Chan confirmed that Rush Hour 4 now has a script and shooting will begin in 2018.
Apparently, the fourth instalment won't be your typical action film though...
"It's pretty good.
"It's not like drug dealer, it's not like fake money, something different… I don't want to always do the same thing again, again."
Jackie said that the producers and writers had been trying to create the perfect script for the new film, but had struggled to agree on one... until now.
"For the last seven years, the script was no good.
"Every draft I'd come back and I'd say 'I don't like it, I don't like it'.
"Even Chris Tucker said 'I don't like it', but yesterday, everybody approved and agreed, 'yes that's the script!' "
The film will be shot in Hong Kong, America and China and unfortunately, Jackie didn't tell Extra anything about the brilliant new script!
We can't wait to see how this new film turns out!
