You know how everyone always goes on about Australia only being good at making crime films, dramas and comedies?
Well, not only is that just RUDE thinking your own country ain’t good at action films and the sorts, but you’re about to be proven wrong.
A new Australian sci-fi film is about to hit our cinemas that will rival Hollywood!
Titled Occupation, this sci-fi alien invasion thriller has the plot synopsis:
"After their small Australian country town is annihilated by an overwhelming airborne attack, a group of local civilians evade capture and discover they are now among the last remaining survivors of an extraterrestrial invasion engulfing the entire planet. As humanity falls under world-wide occupation, they form a home-grown army to fight back against vastly superior enemy forces. On the frontlines of the battle for Earth, they are our last hope.”
The film comes from writer/director Luke Sparke and stars some familiar Aussie faces, including Home And Away’s Dan Ewing and Rhiannon Fish, Puberty Blues’ Izzy Stevens, as well as, Tempura Morrison, Stephany Jacobsen, Zachary Garred, Charles Terrier, Charles Mesure, Felix Williamson, Jacqueline McKenzie and Bruce Spence.
