Okay, you know the extremely sad Pit Bull that broke the hearts of everyone online this week? WELL, there's a happy ending and now you can enjoy your weekend guilt-free!
*do not watch the below video unless you're prepped with tissues.
Meet Electra, the four-year-old pit bull who was surrendered to the pound by her family earlier this week.
The above video of Electra having just realised that her family was never coming back to take her home, broke the hearts of thousands.
However, thanks to the power of sharing, the word got around that Electra was in need of a safe new home... and she has been adopted!
Tiffany Tan, who runs dog shelter JL Animal Rescue in California, ran to the shelter where Electra was being held and took her home with her.
Soon after, Electra was rehomed with her new adopted family in Rancho Sante Fe, in San Diego.
“She’s a single mum and she has a daughter that’s sixteen,” Tiffany Tan told news.com.au
“I’ve gone over every day to check on her, I had to check her temperament. She’s an amazing dog, she’s not the same dog we took out of a shelter.
“She’s so snugly, she just wants to snuggle you.”
