Mary Poppins is the most magical creature to ever walk this great earth, even if she is only a fictional character.
The 1964 film was based on the Mary Poppins books written by author P.L Travers and she, funnily enough, is from a small town in Queensland called Maryborough.
This town currently has a Mary Poppins statue standing in the centre of town, but now they've taken their love for the character to a whole new level!
The local council has replaced their stick-figure pedestrian crossing lights with new lights that have Mary's silhouette inside them!
They announced the change on their Facebook page and honestly, the images are pretty accurate!
The lights will be fitted at five different pedestrian crossings and will "reinforce the link between the city and Mary Poppins author PL Travers".
Man, this town really loves Mary Poppins!
